Yesterday's match at the Son Moix stadium in Palma ended goalless with a 0:0. Real Mallorca, the first division soccer club, at least managed to grab a point against Athletic Bilbao.
However, we can speak of luck that the dominating guests could not use their numerous chances and did not hit the goal. For RCD Mallorca did not show top form yesterday and had great difficulty in keeping up with the opponent.
With just two points from the four games so far, the island club currently occupies 17th place in the table. There is still room for improvement.
Next up for Real Mallorca is an away game against Celta Vigo on Saturday, September 16. Celta Vigo is currently in 13th place in the table and will certainly pose another challenge for Mallorca.
