Oncoming Storm Raises Alarm: Mallorca's Weather Service Issues an Orange Alert
The venerated island of Mallorca is battening down the hatches for a potentially tumultuous November. As stormy conditions ramp up, the notable coastlines and the towering Tramuntana Mountains are bracing for gales that might reach an astounding 110 km/h. Thursday is expected to amp up the wind frenzy, with gusts reaching up to 80 kilometers per hour, and those along the coastlines and the Tramuntana Mountains potentially facing winds of 110 km/h. A fusillade of sunshine and clouds dominates the daytime with a surge in rain probabilities toward the afternoon.
Friday's Weather Prediction: Persistent Strong Winds and Showers in Store
Mallorca residents can brace for the continuation of strong gusts, around 70 to 80 kilometers per hour, into Friday.
